There’s a lot of talk going on around this time of the year (just check out Facebook) and it will only get louder and louder as we get closer to New Years Eve…
A lot of the talk will be about getting the right “mindset” for 2019….I think Mindset is Crap!
In my view mindset it’s way too fluffy and not the thing that will make a big difference to anyones RESULTS…
There’s an old African Proverb…”Prey, but move your feet”
Many people will just be talking a how to make 2019 YOUR year…the things you can do to make it different to 2018.
Here’s the thing…
It won’t work!
I’ve spent the last 15 years talking to and consulting to business owners, my viewpoint is that most businesses are started by ‘Technicians’ suffering from an entrepreneurial seizure.
They believe that they can do it better than their boss.
So in their unshakable belief they leave their boss by convincing themselves that they will end up with the freedom of more time and more money.
Nice in theory…but what’s the reality?
They end up working crazy hours, take on all of the risk, borrow money, sign guarantees, mortgage their home, do late-night paperwork, have to cope with constant money and people problems and the list goes on.
Technician’s do 4 things wrong:
1/ They create a ‘lack of money habit’
2/ They create a ‘lack of time habit’
3/ They surround themselves with ‘the wrong people’
4/ They work in ‘uninspiring environments’
So what’s the fix?
Sack the Technician within you and awaken the Strategist!
Great businesses are NOT built by great Technicians…they are built by Great Strategists.
What does that mean?
How do you ‘Sack the Technician’ within you and become more strategic in 2019?
You can email me for a 1:1 consult.
My consulting fee is $550 for 45mins. That’s one way.
The other way is to listen in on how we transformed the mind of a high school pastry chef (Mark Hobbs) to create one of Australia’s most successful pie chains – Beefy’s Pies.
Mark was a great Technician which is why he had a great product…but great products don’t sell themselves, they need a winning strategy in order to break free from all of the marketing ‘noise’ out there…
If the ‘Strategist’ within you is ready to learn, then simply go to www.growbusinessgrow.com.au and pick a time to listen in to the web-event that explains in detail what I did with Mark to help transform his business.
There’s no charge for the information – it’s my gift to the Strategist within you.
If after watching the web event you see a bigger future for yourself, then get in contact with me and we’ll discuss your situation and see if our trademarked Grow Business Grow Boardroom Program is right for you to start in January 2019.
Here’s the link to my appointment calendar: https://my.timetrade.com/book/BFT4M
NOTE: You must watch the webinar BEFORE booking in a time with me, otherwise the appointment will be cancelled.
Keep strategic and celebrate your progress
P.S. Here’s what Mark said about our working relationship:
“Grow Business Grow understood my frustrations of trying to grow my business. I fessed up that I wasn’t devoting enough time to my family, that my health was far from ideal and how the financial cost of trying to make it all work would keep me up at night stressing”
Our way of doing things is unique and it’s why it produces unique results for our clients…
We would love the opportunity to help you clear your head on what is the right way for you to accelerate your business…
We highly recommend you watch this step-by-step case study of how we grew Beefy’s Pies into a Famous Aussie Icon from a small stressed out bakery into a family owned chain. Click here to get all the insights into their success…
Or if you have heard enough about how we work with our small business owners, then let’s have an off the record chat about your current situation and see what we can do to immediately guide you…click this link to see what time best suits you.
P.S. Ask if our Boardroom Program intake is open for enrolments…It works best for business owners who see the benefit of having us on as their ‘external partner’ so that they are not alone in the day to day decisions of their business.
